Full-Time – Seasonal Road Maintainer
Location: Pound Ridge, NY
Rate: $18/hour | Full-Time, Seasonal
Overview
Join our Highway Department this summer as a seasonal Road Maintainer with a primary focus on traffic flagging and work zone safety. Help keep our road crews and the public safe while supporting essential highway maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct traffic safely in active work zones.
- Set up and maintain traffic cones, barricades, and signage.
- Assist crews with road repairs, painting lines, and general maintenance.
- Perform grounds maintenance and cleanup as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure crew and public safety.
Qualifications
- 18+ years old.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift, stand, and perform manual labor.
- Team-oriented with strong attention to safety.
