Notice of Public Hearing on Residency Requirements for Highway Superintendent
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Pound Ridge will hold a public hearing on May 19, 2026, commencing at 7:30 pm, or as soon thereafter as time allows, to provide an opportunity for public comment on proposed legislation to relax the residency requirements for the Highway Superintendent and his or her deputies.
The public may attend either in person at the Town House, 179 Westchester Avenue, Pound Ridge, or via Zoom videoconference. To obtain the login information needed to participate via Zoom, contact the Town Clerk (email townclerk@townofpoundridge.gov or call 914-764-5549) no later than 12:00 noon on the day of the public hearing. Those wishing to view the meeting remotely but not to offer comments may access the video livestream at https://vimeo.com/event/2423847.
Please note that comments will be limited to three (3) minutes each. All those wishing to be heard will be heard.
The full text of the proposed legislation will be posted to the town website at townofpoundridge.gov and will also be available in the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours for public inspection and copying.
