FOIL Requests

The Freedom of Information Law ensures public access to records.  To request records, please complete the form below and submit it to the appropriate office.

• Police Department records: contact the Police Department
• All other town records: contact the Town Clerk

To determine what type of records to request, it may be helpful to refer to the Retention and Disposition Schedule for New York Local Government Records (LGS-1), which describes types of records a municipality might maintain.  Please note that the town maintains only some but not all types of records described in Schedule LGS-1.
