Ice Skating - CLOSED

As of January 7, 2026. NO SKATING!

1. Patrons, as snow beings to accumulate on the pond at Town Park, our Maintenacne Department will handle all snow removal. We kindly ask residents not to shovel the pond for safety reasons .
2. Ice must be 6 inches deep before skating is allowed.
3. Do not throw sticks or rocks on the pond. It can hinder the pond freezing over.
4. Lastly, do not skate until Pound Ridge's maintenance team has cleared the ice and the sign indicates that skating is allowed. 

Indication of signs: 

1. RED SIGN (NO SKATING): Not allowed to skate
2. GREEN SIGN (UNSUPERVISED SKATING): Skating allowed, at your own risk

The Recreation Department will send out a notification through Community Pass, post on social media and update the website when skating is allowed or not allowed.  Please be safe.
